    Abstract: 本文提出一高脈衝電場產生器應用於流動液體食物抑
    降低成本。最後,以一組輸出最大電壓30 kV 及重複周期12
    Hz 之雛型機,來驗證高脈衝電場產生器之可行性。
    This paper presents a high pulsed electric field generator for
    microbial inhibition of flowing liquid food in continuous
    treatment applications. The proposed pulsed electric field
    generator adopts forward/flyback hybrid converter to generate a
    bipolar narrow pulse output voltages. With this circuit structure,
    the proposed one can reduce voltage stresses of output diodes
    and switches, resulting in lower cost. It can also reduce voltage
    slew rate of the switching components at turn-on and turn-off
    transitions to avoid noise interference. Additionally, the proposed
    generator uses an active clamp circuit to recover the energy
    trapped in the leakage inductance of the transformer with high
    turns ratio. Moreover, a half-bridge inverter is adopted to drive
    piezoelectric devices for clearing the inhibiting electrodes. To
    simplify circuit structure of the proposed system, a synchronous
    switch technique is used to integrate the switches in the active
    clamp circuit and half-bridge inverter to increase conversion
    efficiency and reduce volume, size, weight and cost. Finally, a
    prototype with maximum output voltage of 30 kV and repetition
    rate of 12 Hz has been implemented to prove the feasibility of
    the proposed pulsed electric field generator.
