    Abstract: 早期電力系統變電所開關場規劃多以戶外型為主,多數傳統式空斷開關(ABS)面臨汰換及維修問題,由於ABS 結構部分組件仍有再生利用空間,如能搭配改善傳動機構等零組配件,則可延續設備使用年限。本研究主要整理目前ABS 之弱點改善,並透過軟體模擬,分析不同結構ABS 動作行程改善效益。最後藉由量測分析ABS 動作行程時操作箱馬達電流變化特性,據以研判操作性能之優劣。Substations of Taipower were largely designed as the outdoor type in early years. Mosttraditional-type ABS (Air Break Switch) units have been served up to twenty or thirty years andface the maintenance problem. Since some components of the ABS are re-useable,byre-utilization and improving the structures or elements, the service life of ABS may be extended.In this project, the weaknesses of ABS observed are tabulated. Through the computer simulation,the characteristics of different type of ABS are analyzed. Finally, by analyzing the current of theoperation motor, the performance of an ABS can be estimated.
