This paper proposes a digital control project of a dsp-based magnetic levitation system for the undergraduate education. The eZdsp F2812 is utilized as a digital controller, the pwm technique is adopted to trigger the current driver and an infrared opto-electronic device is employed to sense the levitated object. The discrete-time system analysis is derived and the stability is guaranteed by the root locus technology. These materials are appropriate for the undergraduate control education.
