In order to be able to seize the opportunity that a dynamic operating environment opensup, promoting and facilitating innovation ideas while at the same time developing dynamiccapability are two of the most important issues for firms to sustained their competitive advantage.Recent studies contended that the organizations with a strong learning orientationproactively expand their capacity and renew themselves can facilitate the aforementionedconditions. In addition, recent studies have also stated that social capital is a critical influentialfactor that provides either direct effects or indirect effects on innovation. It is suggestedthat social capital helps firms to expedite the efficiency of information diffusion throughminimizing redundancy. Social capital aids to adaptive efficiency and to encourage cooperativebehavior and innovative organization. Furthermore, entrepreneurial orientation has alsobeen regarded as an important factor for the development of dynamic capability. Entrepreneurialorientation involves alertness to discoveries and to seize opportunities. It enables firms tocope with market and technological uncertainties and being able to take risk in order to do so.However, very little studies have evaluated the synergistic effects of the aforementioned researchvariables.Empirical validation for the research model is undertaken through a series of expert interviewand questionnaire survey. The findings indicate that organizational learning is partiallyinfluence the dynamic capability, innovation, and performance of the firm. The trust andpro-activeness have significant influence on the firm’s dynamic capability, innovation, andperformance. Interestingly, only internal capabilities reveals as significant determinants ofinnovation and business performance. Moreover, this study reports that social capital and entrepreneurialorientation moderate the effects of organizational learning on dynamic capabilityand innovation. The results imply that managers should energize their company with socialcapital and entrepreneurial orientation in order to boost their dynamic capability andinnovation. The results also may provide an influential reference for academicians and practitionerswhen considering the role of these two variables.
