    Abstract: The purpose of the following project is to design, build and test a multirotor aircraft. It was our job to select, build and test the various components needed to put together a multirotor aircraft.
    The scope of the project included both hardware and software components, for the hardware parts we opted for a quadrotor configuration and selected the various components necessary to complete the drone such as a frame, motors, flight controller, ESCs, battery pack and other components such as compass and accelerometers. We have a detailed list of components and their respective roles in the first part of the project.
    We also want to discuss in this section the software we utilized in order to calibrate the hardware and input flight parameters and setup flight paths. The software we used is called Mission Planner, is an open source software that has many great utilities that came in very handy during the development of our quadrotor.
    In essence this report contain a step by step approach on how to select components, put those components together and finally how to calibrate them in order to put together a DIY quadrotor drone.
