    Abstract: This study investigates the vibration problems of a spinning twisted non-uniform Timoshenko beam under axial loading. First, using the Timoshenko beam theory and Hamilton’s principle, we derive the governing equations and boundary conditions of the beam. Secondly, the differential transform method is used to solve these equations with appropriate boundary conditions. Finally, the effects of the twist angle, spinning speed, and axial force on the natural frequencies of a non-uniform Timoshenko beam are investigated and discussed.
