    Title: 以生質柴油提升重質柴油之引擎燃燒特性與暫態反應研究

    Abstract: 本研究利用添加高十六烷值之棕櫚油生質油5%、10%、15%、20%來改善重質柴油燃燒特性及暫態反應,研究進行引擎之穩態及暫態試驗,暫態試驗為探討油料對引擎冷啟動及急加速性能下之引擎性能及廢氣排放的影響,將兩種試驗之結果整體分析能更有效的探討試驗燃料的特性與適用性。
    研究結果顯示:在穩態試驗時,重質柴油添加生質柴油後最高燃燒壓力角度有提前的趨勢,其中重質柴油加15%生質柴油時,其爆震壓力差較小、制動燃油效率較高及動力增加率較佳,同時廢氣排放方面重質柴油添加生質柴油後NOx排放量比重質柴油降低約26.66%也比超級柴油低11.79%,黑煙排放方面重質柴油添加生質柴油後可改善約40%~60%的排放量,暫態試驗以重質柴油加15%生質柴油之啟動性能及空載加速黑煙排放方面表現最佳,負載加速性能方面以重質柴油添加5%及10%生質油之加速時間最短,且加速時黑煙排放比重質柴油約降低30%~80%。
    In order to enhance the combustion characteristics and transient operations of heavy diesel (HD), the high cetane number palm biodiesel was blended by 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20%. Respectively the steady state and transient performance were investigated. The engine performance and exhaust emissions were tested under cold start and acceleration condition. The study of fuel properties on engine steady combustion characteristics and transient operations will be helpful to evaluate the fuel characteristics and the suitability for use.
    The experimental results showed that the heavy diesel blending with 15% biodiesel (HBD-15) would have less knocking pressure, better fuel consumption, and higher engine output power under steady state test. The NOx exhaust emissions of HBD-15 were 26.66% less than HD’s exhaust and 11.79% lower than the super diesel’s (SD) exhaust and the smoke emissions were reduced about 40%~ 60% by adding biodiesel into heavy diesel. Under transient operation tests, the cold start performance and free acceleration smoke has excellent performance for HBD-15, the load acceleration performance of heavy diesel with 5% and 10% biodiesel had short acceleration time and about 30%~ 80% lower smoke emission than HD’s.
